The reason for the season

I’m something of a traditionalist, so it saddens me to see that Groundhog Day has become less about whether a giant rat can predict the weather, and more about living a good enough life to avoid six more weeks of reliving the same day over and over again.

(Disclaimer: I’m nothing of a traditionalist, I couldn’t care less about rodent prognostications, and I think you should live a good enough life anyway.)
